Posted on April 17, 2016 at 6:54 am
If you have a Nintendo DSi and/or a Nintendo DSi XL device and have been heavily reliant on DSi store, toaccess DSiware downloadable content you will be sad to hear that there store will be closed on 31st March 2017; 8 years is not a bad run considering.
It may be time to ditch the outdated DSi device and go for something that’s current like the Nintendo 3DS. With regards to the DSiware that you do have, and availability on the 3DS. Nintendo released an update on June 2011 which made it possible to access the DSi Shop’s library of DSiWare games through the Nintendo eShop, where you can transfer from the DSi system to the 3DS system whilst you still can; be aware that not all games will be compatible, so you may lose some games you like and have to find alternatives. The points can still be added using DSiware until September 30th 2016, and content can be purchased until March 31, 2017 when the shop will be closed.

Hyrule Warriors
Posted on February 21, 2016 at 10:50 am
It’s a game from 2014, but still worth a mention, as some people may not have even heard of this game.
If you love Zelda and really wanted to deal the ultimate blow to a whole series of enemies and even those super annoying characters in the game that you simply could not mash up then you will be in for a real treat with this game.
As you advance through the story, you can unlock new playable characters and take advantage of their different skills and abilities. Players are not limited to a single set character throughout the game and you can play as any character that is available, even those most hated enemies from Zelda games of the past.
Collect Rupees and other useful items to upgrade weapons and craft badges, which players can use to bolster each warrior’s abilities.
Play with a friend using local co-op mode and battle side by side as you take down armies of the enemy. Secure and reclaim iconic landmarks from the Zelda games, such as Hyrule field, the Palace of twilight and more…

New Legend of Zelda Wii U coming 2016
Posted on January 21, 2016 at 6:33 am
Zelda fans were let down last year when the release of new Legend of Zelda for the Wii U was pushed back to a later date sometime in 2016. Nintendo claimed they still had some finishing touches to add to the game, and wanted the game to be the most complete Zelda game they have ever created. Though with that said, it’s more than a coincidence that the release date would be pushed back to the year that would mark the 30th Anniversary of Zelda; most likely Nintendo’s way of bringing their best Zelda game to date into it’s full glory on an anniversary date to really do it justice.
Either way the extra tweaks over the past year and whatever they have been doing, has to be well worth the wait.
We will just have to wait until the E3 2016 for the announcement of when the new Zelda will be released; expect to see the E3 2016 taking place from June 14-16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Not a Hero: Roll7 does it again
Posted on November 30, 2015 at 9:06 am
Roll7 are a UK studio that is quickly making a name for itself alongside the rockstar American publisher Devolver Digital. Roll7 started life on Sony’s amazing handheld; the Playstation Vita. The team responsible for courting indie titles recognised the quality of the small studio and worked hard to help them get Olli Olli – the high scoring skateboard game – onto the Playstation Vita and working flawlessly. The game sold well, scored well and has gone on to appear on a number of other machines as well – spawning a sequel along the way.
Now Not a Hero is here – the latest game from the UK based studio and it marks a big departure for them. NOT A HERO, to use its proper title, is a fast paced, side scrolling shooting game that has some wacky characters, some outrageous bosses and over the top, high octane action. The game is on sale right now on the Steam sale – so give it a try.
